Proudly introducing our next badass member and contributor of the Cup Check Team….
My name is Caleb but my friends call me C2. Native of Nashville, TN and also currently reside there. I played High School baseball at Mt. Juliet High School and college baseball at Vanderbilt University. Was fortunate to get to experience a lot of awesome things in college and be exposed to a whole new world of knowledge.
After three years at Vandy, I was drafted by the New York Yankees in 2009. It was a dream come true and have loved every second of it since. Unfortunately, my body has not reveled as much in the experience. Soon after signing I had to have knee surgery for the second time and backed that up with a shoulder surgery. At the time it was the worst thing that had ever happened to me, but now I believe it was the best thing that could have happened.
Most of my life in the past 5-6 years has molded me into what I am now. Without the struggles and tough times, I would not be where I am currently in my life. These tough times have opened up a huge world for me and somewhat have shown me the keys to my life: reading and getting after it daily.
I plan to mix it up on the CupCheck and perhaps shoot you some books that have helped me on my way to overall mastery of LIFE…read my first post “Little Book of Talent: Ep. One”.
