For the past few weeks I have been living quite the life of leisure. Mornings at the complex filled with lifting, throwing programs, and running that always seems tougher towards the weekend. But the afternoon…that is the time to shine! Some days I work at getting the best bronze possible laying by my Motel 6 looking pool, and some are spent playing video games, reading, and of course, making sure the new Starbucks barista know my order by heart.
But the main reason I’m writing is the book I’m reading by Timothy Ferris called ‘The Four Hour Body-An Uncommon Guide to Rapid Fat Loss, Incredible Sex, and Becoming Superhuman.” Recently I’ve become very interested in finding how, so to speak, to get the best out of what I’ve got – both on and off the field. If you’re like me and are interested in how the body works, simplifying your workouts while getting the most out of them, nutrition, and how to make positive changes in your life, this is the book for you. Ferris has taken all of the experiments he learned from and compiled them into this book of self-betterment. Personally, I have learned much more from this book that any other I was assigned to read in school, and the layout allows you to pick and choose what topic you want to learn about. If you’re looking for something to make those long days in your hotel room or apartment go by a little quicker, I strongly suggest you give this bestseller a try!
